Ryan,

How can I remove those FLVPlayback and UIManager TimerEvents which you talked about?
I could not find them anywhere.

Thanks!

Just wondering if you have tested this same problem with all the very latest stuff like FLVPlaybackAS3_2.5.swc and so on?

Derek, to the best of my knowledge the memory leak in FLVPlayback has still not been fixed. I recommend checking out the Open Source Media Framework (http://www.opensourcemediaframework.com/) and Open Video Player (http://openvideoplayer.sourceforge.net/). Neither provide a completely plug and play component like FLVPlayback, so you end up doing a bit more custom development, but it's worth it if you are creating a video heavy app.

Hey, great work. I spent the last 30min after reading this article to find a more current solution and/or fix made by Adobe, but was unable to. So... I was wondering if you knew of a more current fix? Or maybe knowledge of a fix in FP10 or FP10.1? I am aware of the Loader.unloadAndStop update, but don't really see any fix for FLVPlayback. I may just try implementing this as @mike on 3.12.10 @ 12pm said it worked for him, and this was about a month ago to date. Email me with a response if you have one. Thanks again.

Ah true, but using 1000 does make the results more dramatic.
